In an effort to increase overall security and stability of FoxTALE, we will introduce a late December upgrade to our maintenance schedule which currently includes our August upgrade and bi-monthly updates. A December upgrade will bring our security to the highest level and resolve issues. In addition, December upgrades will make the introduction of new features a bit more incremental. Our December 2017 upgrade is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 28 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Questions? Contact servicedesk@georgefox.edu or 503-554-2569.

Join us for our second Matheteis of the semester on Tuesday, Nov. 14Â at 8:30 p.m. in Canyon Commons 103.
Matheteis is a discussion forum that comes from the Greek word for disciple. Our goal is to provide space students to discuss difficult topics in a cross-disciplinary approach that leads to learning and understanding. We invite four panelists who are given 2-3 prompt questions ahead of time. After panelists have an opportunity to discuss the prompt questions, audience participants can also ask questions and join the discussion.
The topic will be about DACA: what is it and how will students be affected by the current administration’s change of its policy? We want to host a dialogue in which students can ask questions about the policy and gauge how it is affecting communities around us. Especially with the tension in our political climate today, it is important to have a space to talk about DACA in way that reveals how people, not just numbers and statistics, are being impacted.
Questions? Contact Brianna Martin-Ortega (bmartinortega16@georgefox.edu).

George Fox is once again partnering with Hillsboro Airporter to provide shuttle service to Portland International Airport for Thanksgiving break. Students will be expected to work directly with Hillsboro Airporter to reserve their spot.
Here are the details:
- The cost for one passenger is $65, plus a tip. Each additional passenger is $3.
- Each shuttle can fit five to six passengers. The cost per student is based on the total number of passengers during the scheduled times, so if you can fill one shuttle, the cost per student could be as low as $15 (if you have a total of six passengers).
- Make your reservations more than 24 hours in advance and Hillsboro Airporter can group you together. To reserve your spot, go online to Hillsboro Airporter & Car Service LLC.
- Hillsboro Airporter accepts cash or credit card for payment. Parents can call Hillsboro Airporter with a credit card to pay for their student’s fare.
- Hillsboro Airporter has 24/7 service. It will work with students and their families, putting students together to lower the cost of the fare.
Questions? Contact the Office of Student Life (jwitherspoon@georgefox.edu or 503-554-2316).
