The Collegiate Rocket League is back for a spring season, and the George Fox University team is looking for the best players. There’s a $50,000 prize pool for scholarships up for grabs.

Two more Hearthstone players are wanted for a three-person team to represent George Fox in the Hearthstone Collegiate Championship Tournament Spring 2019. There is scholarship money on the table for the top 36 teams.

Registration ends Feb. 21, and games will take place from Feb. 25 to May 11. If you can consistently reach rank 15 or above in a season and are interested in joining, contact Noah Combs at ncombs17@georgefox.edu before Feb. 20.

All are invited to hear Christine Guzman of Azusa Pacific University share about how self-care relates to relationships this Monday, Feb. 18, from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. in Canyon Commons 101-103.

Discussions will include how to communicate and listen for affirmative consent in relationships, how to set healthy boundaries for yourself, and how to develop a strong support network among your peers so you can flourish while on campus.

The Wineskin is now accepting submissions! There is no theme for this semester – just send us your best poems, stories, essays and artwork.

The editors are open to a wide range of styles and subject matter, but we are particularly looking for work that pushes boundaries and surprises us with its artistic approach and perspective of the world.

Please submit all poetry, prose, photography and artwork here. Our submission guidelines are as follows:

• Poetry and prose manuscripts must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document in Times New Roman with 12-point font. Please title your pieces and remove your name from the document.
• Limit all prose to 1,000 words and send no more than five poems per submission.
• For artwork, files should be named with the title of your piece, followed by your name. Please remove all watermarks from your work.
• Submissions close on Friday, March 22.

We are in need of a couple between the ages of 35 and 45 years old for our student film. Ask your friends, parents, uncles and aunts to audition for our film!

We also need a female student from Fox to act for our main role. This is for the advanced film class here on campus, so it is a great resume builder and the finished film will be in the Fox Film Festival.
