Apply for position to help LIBA students write

Undergraduates who have high aptitude as writers and an ability to communicate well with their classmates are encouraged to apply to be Advanced Writing Fellows starting in fall 2020.

Advanced Writing Fellows are writing specialists who work with LIBA 100 students to assist their LIBA 100 writing projects through one-on-one consultations and small-group workshops. Students familiar with close reading assignments from LIBA 100 or in Penn seminar courses are encouraged to apply.

AWF duties include meeting with students to discuss their writing; moderating student writing groups; visiting LIBA 100 classes; attending a weekly staff meeting; and completing administrative duties (e.g., maintaining appointment records, researching tutoring strategies, and attending training).
