Wednesday, Feb. 2, marks National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and we would love to extend an invitation to all girls teams (youth and high school levels) to join us at our women’s basketball game that night at 6 p.m. as we take on the Linfield Wildcats.
We will be inviting youth teams onto the court during halftime, where they will be honored as our next generation of female athletes by our current collegiate athletes. We are excited to take this opportunity to recognize these girls for all their hard work and inspire them to keep pursuing their passions in sports!
If you are interested in attending, please email nknipe20@georgefox.edu with an estimated headcount and your team name. This will ensure free admission. We encourage the girls to wear their jerseys so that we can easily identify teams as they arrive.
Questions? Contact Elise Trask at etrask@georgefox.edu.
