When returning unwanted packages back to the sender, whether it be through UPS or USPS, there are certain steps that need to happen before bringing them to Mail Services.
- The packages CANNOT be opened; they have to stay sealed.
- Do not write on any of the labels that are on the package.
- If the package is being returned through UPS, write in red “Refused.â€
- If the package is being returned through USPS, write in red “Unclaimed.â€
If the package has been opened, then you must pay for the package to be returned to the sender. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Richard Silver at 503-554-2551 or rsilver@georgefox.edu.

We will have weekly community garden gatherings each Wednesday throughout the summer. You are welcome to join as a consistent member for the summer ($10 per student, $15 per adult), or come check it out and see if you want to be involved. We work together, so you don’t have to know what you’re doing.
We share a potluck meal together each Wednesday night, so if you can, bring some dishes to eat off of, and some food to share.
Email Cherice Bock (cbock@georgefox.edu) to be put on the list to hear about events, and/or join our Facebook page.

All are invited to participate in the university’s Community Garden. We’re going to meet for an information and work day this Saturday, May 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. We’ll talk about when we want to meet regularly throughout the summer and what we want to plant this year. We’ll plant some things and continue working to build up beds and get the garden space ready to go.
If you want to participate in the garden but can’t come on Saturday, contact Cherice Bock (cbock@georgefox.edu) to be put on the email list and learn about future gatherings.
We meet weekly throughout the summer, usually on a weekday evening, including a potluck meal.
The cost is $10 per student and $15 per adult (children free) for those who can contribute. This covers seeds and seedlings.
You’re welcome to come to this meeting and check it out, without making a commitment to joining for the whole summer. The garden is located in the field on the corner of Villa and Crestview streets.
