Stress is a constant in our lives, but how we manage stress can change the quality of life. This Wednesday, Feb. 22, the Academic Resource Center will host a workshop, “My Computer Crashed, My Project is Lost, and I’m out of Detergent: Strategies for Managing Stress,” that will help you learn how to manage stress and use it to your advantage.

Members of our Health and Counseling Center staff will be our presenters. Join us from 3 to 3:50 p.m. in Stevens 109.

Interested in acting in a short silent film? Auditions open to all tonight

Open auditions for a short student film will be held today (Saturday) at 8 p.m. in Lemmons Kitchen Lab (location is subject to change).

Interested in acting in a short silent film? Well here’s your chance! We’re looking for two actors (one male, one female) who want the opportunity to star in a short film. There are no lines to memorize, but we are looking for people who think they’d be good at miming. More information about the characters and story will be given at auditions.

No monologue required. We’ll be asking you to act out nonverbal improv scenes. We will be filming at various times from Feb. 22-26 and are willing to work with your schedule.

Today is sign-up deadline for i3 Challenge

Today (Saturday) is the deadline to sign up for the Industry Innovation Idea (i3) Challenge! Students, start putting your teams together – six students from any major – and mark your calendars for Saturday, Feb. 25, for the third annual i3 Challenge. The event, sponsored by the College of  Business, will take place from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Hoover Academic Building.
