Be considerate of new students when parking on Thursday

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

The university is welcoming more than 600 new students and their families on Thursday, Aug. 25. They must have a place to park as they move in, so please willingly give up your parking places in the Stevens, Hoover, Wood-Mar and Pennington lots. You can park on Sheridan Street, the campus side of Meridian Street, North Street or the Bauman lot.

Once the new students move in, the Pennington lot will be off-limits for staff/faculty, as all spots are needed for the students who live in that area. Thank you for helping to welcome our new students with empty parking lots!

Dear students,

Financial aid will begin disbursing on accounts on Monday, August 22nd.  If you are currently not seeing all of your aid reflected as anticipated aid on your account  it could be due to one of the following reasons:

You have not completed the FAFSA for 2011-12 (no federal aid is included in your financial aid award

Your financial aid is still in process due to FAFSA verification.

If your aid does not disburse Monday due to any of the above reasons, we will have subsequent disbursements throughout the first two weeks of school and weekly thereafter.
