Oregon chemistry professor speaks on campus Nov. 14
Dr. David Tyler, a chemistry professor at the University of Oregon, will present a seminar on new photochemically degradable plastics for the environment at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in EHS 102.
Dr. Tyler will speak about “green” plastics, the research his group has done to develop a new class of plastics, and research into controlling when plastics start to degrade. After the seminar, students will have the opportunity to chat with him about grad studies at the University of Oregon.
The seminar is sponsored by the Department of Biology and Chemistry. All are invited!
