Tuesday, Oct. 14, 10-11 a.m., webinar (see link below for instructions)
Wednesday, Oct. 15, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Portland 280 (sub sandwich served)

Employees attending any of the meetings at the Newberg or Portland campuses are eligible to win an iPod, compliments of the University Store. Employees from Boise, Salem and Redmond who participate by joining the webinar also will be included in the drawing.

Copies of ‘The Shack’ on sale in bookstore

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

If you enjoyed chapel speaker Paul Young, make sure to stop by the University Store to pick up his book. The store is selling The Shack for $15.

The Shack is a one-of-kind invitation to journey to the very heart of God. Through my tears and cheers,  I have been indeed transformed by the tender mercy with which William Paul Young opened the veil that too often separated me from God and from myself. With every page, the complicated do’s and don’ts that distort a relationship into a religion were washed away as I understood Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for the first time in my life.” – Patrick M. Roddy, Emmy-award winning producer of ABC News

Thanks for your support of ‘Trayless Tuesdays’

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Bon Appetit would like to thank everyone for the success and overwhelming support given by the vast majority of students with the first “Trayless Tuesday.” With few exceptions, we received dozens of very positive comments from students and we’re encouraged that so many share concerns regarding the amount of food typically wasted each meal and how it affects our environment.

Our thanks go out to everyone for making this small weekly sacrifice of convenience, and we look forward to continued support and success with the remaining “Trayless Tuesdays” this year.

– Bon Appetit
