Sign up today for this week’s Safety In Motion training session

The George Fox Safety Committee will host a Safety In Motion training class Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Duke 205.

Safety in Motion is an integrated training program that gives employees tools to assist them with how they can lift, move, and work to reduce the potential for injury. It brings awareness to early warning signs before an injury happens. The training provides coaching on ways to re-energize, increase strength, and improve physical technique.

Training is provided by Aga Kasprzyk, director of employee benefits and well-being, and Kim Knoernschild, our environmental health and safety specialist. It is an integrated class with instruction and the ability to practice common workplace movements.

Sign up here by tomorrow (Tuesday). Feel free to contact Kim at kknoernschild@georgefox.edu.
