Commencement information for graduating seniors
Seniors: Now that you have picked up your regalia, please check out the commencement website for all of the details about your big day on Saturday, May 3! Some important highlights include:
- New for the Class of 2014: a senior class picture will be taken at 11:45 a.m. on the quad (sunny weather) or in the new stadium (rainy weather). Wear your regalia!
- Tickets will be mailed in mid-April to your campus box. Each graduate will receive 10 tickets for guests.
- If you want to attend the “other†ceremony to watch friends graduate, you may pick up a ticket at the academic affairs office on the first floor of Stevens. These tickets will be available April 21-30 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- You have been assigned to either the 10 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. ceremony based on your college. If you want to request to participate in the other ceremony, the Commencement Petition Form will be available through Friday, April 11.
- There is no rehearsal prior to commencement.
- Please arrive at the Wheeler Sports Center one hour before your commencement start time: 9 a.m. for those in the 10 a.m. ceremony and 1:30 p.m. for those in the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
- Doors will open for guests one hour before the ceremony start time.
