Join us for a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues presentation this Monday, March 13, when Corwynn Beals, professor of philosophy and religion at George Fox, presents “The American Dream: Wanted Dead or Alive” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Some say the American Dream is dead – that it is no longer equally possible for all to work hard for true freedom. Others reached “The Dream” and found their soul died along the way. Beals will take a hard look at the status of “The Dream” and see what people are doing who say that “The Dream” (and their soul) is still alive.
The theme for this semester’s LACI series is “The Future of the American Dream.” For more information, contact Laurie Fair at lfair@georgefox.edu.
