There are elections going on in several counties in Oregon. These ballots will need to be mailed through the U.S. Mail.
Since there is no election in Yamhill County (our local county), there are no drop-off sites available in Yamhill County. Outgoing ballots to all Oregon counties – as well as any other state – will require postage applied when mailed.

Heather Askew, the program coordinator for an NGO in Thailand called The Garden of Hope: Taw Saeng, will speak from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, in the Cap & Gown Room. She works in human trafficking prevention and rehabilitation and is in the U.S. to do a speaking tour to share with college students about the problem of human trafficking, what The Garden of Hope is doing to help prevent it, and how students can get involved in the fight.

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is a great place to get writing help or general academic coaching, but available appointments fill up fast. If you need to schedule an ARC appointment in order to get credit on an assignment, make your appointment early. Plan on scheduling your appointment at least a week in advance to guarantee yourself a spot.

The George Fox Day of Prayer is Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 5 p.m. on the quad. During homecoming, the Parents Council will have a prayer tent open for anyone to join them in prayer for our campus.
