Princeton’s Robert George speaks in Bauman Feb. 6

The university community is invited to a free presentation by Robert P. George, PhD, from Princeton University next week on the Newberg campus. George will present a lecture entitled “Religious Liberty and the Rights of Conscience” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in Bauman Auditorium.

George is the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and director of the James Madison Program in Ideals and Institutions at Princeton. He is the author of numerous books in the fields of constitutional law, ethics and legal and political theory. His visit is being sponsored by the William Penn Honors Program.
