The all-employee meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, March 19, has been canceled, as it would conflict with Scholarship Competition. The next all-employee meeting will be Thursday, April 23.

The George Fox community is invited to join David Rawson, scholar in residence at George Fox and a former U.S. ambassador, as he speaks on “Conflict Resolution and Christian Hospitality: The Case from Rwanda 1994.” This is a public lecture followed by a light reception and continuing conversation.

Kelly was previously employed through George Fox’s English Language Institute, and she is now working as a tutor and adjunct instructor in Newberg, Portland and online.
After earning a BS in math from Boston State College and ESL certification from California State University Long Beach, Kelly moved to Tokyo, Japan, where she lived and taught for 29 years. While in Japan, Kelly earned an MEd in curriculum, instruction and technology and TESOL from Temple University.

Come to a faculty presentation by Kelsey Kuperman from the University of Oregon today (Wednesday) from 3 to 4 p.m. in Ross 140. You can sign up at this link. This session, sponsored by the Disability Services Office, satisfies one hour of professional development for faculty.
ADHD is a form of neurodiversity and can show up as strengths (creativity, curiosity, passion) and frustrating challenges (lack of motivation, difficulty getting started, trouble tracking time) for individuals with ADHD. This session will explore real-life examples of what it looks and feels like to navigate college with ADHD and will cover a range of strategies for students and faculty.
