Sell your textbooks and return rentals this week

Tuesday, April 29th, 2014

This is the week to get cash for your books. Textbook Buyback is this week only, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday. Bring your books to the Textbook Annex.

Portland/distance-learning students may sell their books through our website and ship them to Neebo, instead of bringing them to Newberg (go to gfubookstore.com, click “Sell Textbooks,” select “Ship Textbooks by Mail” and follow the steps).

Also remember to return your rentals to the Annex or main store. Portland students may package their rentals addressed to BlueZone Store, #6229, and have the front office at the Portland Center send them via campus courier.

Questions? Contact Sandy Gidding at sgidding@georgefox.edu.

Reminder on what to do with your mailbox key

Tuesday, April 29th, 2014

Returning in the fall? Keep your mailbox key over the summer. You will have the same mailbox in the fall.

Put your name and box number on the envelope. With key sealed inside the envelope, drop the envelope off at Mail Services (North Street Annex) or drop it into any “ON CAMPUS MAIL” slot.

There will be no parking in the Pennington or Bauman lots this summer due to construction. Any cars left on campus will need to be emptied of contents and the keys left with security. Owners should also know that George Fox is not responsible should anything happen to your vehicle if it is left on campus.

One bedroom available in home for the summer

Friday, April 25th, 2014

I am looking for a female to take over my lease this summer (for the period of May through July 2014). I live in a beautiful home, right across the street from George Fox. Rent is $300, and utilities are about $40-50 per month. I share the bedroom with another female student, but she’ll be gone most of the summer. The bedroom has its own bathroom.

If you are only looking for a place for the months of June and July, contact me anyway. We might be able to make some sort of arrangement. Thank you.
