Need help with your writing? Today (Thursday) the Academic Resource Center will host a session, “Correcting Common Writing Mistakes,” from 10:50 to 11:40 a.m. in Hoover 105.
Event Description
When we write, we communicate – sometimes more than we intend to. Professors are primarily concerned with what you are thinking and how you have engaged with the ideas in the course, but they also have a hard time ignoring grammatical errors. This workshop will help you understand, identify, and correct the top 10 grammatical errors that annoy professors the most.
Polly Peterson, visiting assistant professor of English, will conduct the session. Questions? Contact Rick Muthiah at rmuthiah@georgefox.edu or ext. 2314.
