Come check out BlueCircle, a nonprofit established by entrepreneurship student Will Spain. This free event will include an introduction into the organization, documentary preview, a Q&A session and an opportunity to get involved.
The event is set from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Hoover 105. Contact Jacyln Simmons (jsimmons12@georgefox.edu) if you have questions.
There is a new ATM located in Heacock Commons as you enter through the main doors. This ATM is owned and operated by U.S. Bank. Thank you for your patience while the old ATM has been out of service.
This class is open to those interested in taking violin, viola or cello lessons in a small-group setting. There is no fee in addition to the normal tuition cost.
Students will receive instruction individually as well as in small ensembles, and can join regardless of previous experience. This is a fun way to learn a new instrument or polish your technique in an individual and small ensemble setting.

The College of Business invites the university community to a presentation by Mohan Nair, VP and chief innovation officer of Cambia Health Solutions, on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Hoover 105.
Nair is the keynote speaker for the College of Business’ semi-annual Transformational Leadership Symposium. The topic of the symposium is “Transform You, Transform Business.” Nair will share inspirational leadership strategies that bring about personal and professional growth and transformation. The Ted Talk is by Susan Cain who wrote the book “Quiet”. The Ted Talk video is about 20 minutes long and will be followed by a brief discussion. Introverts and extroverts are encouraged to attend. There will be cookies for refreshments.

On Thursday, Dec. 18, George Fox University libraries will transition to a new library system. We are in the fourth and final group as the 37-member Orbis Cascade Alliance transitions from stand-alone library systems to one shared library system.
The new system will improve the research experience for our students and faculty and allow us to better manage our resources. More information can be found at this link.
