Don’t miss huge basketball games this Friday

Tuesday, January 24th, 2017

The Bruin basketball teams face the University of Puget Sound this Friday, Jan. 27, at 6 and 8 p.m. in two games with big playoff implications. Our women’s basketball team hopes to avenge a one-point loss earlier this season against an undefeated Loggers team. Our men’s team is in the hunt for a Northwest Conference tournament berth!

Here’s what’s in store for Friday:

  • It’s our Pink Zone and “Coaches vs. Cancer” night, which means lots of activities in store.
  • It’s going to be a Silent Night: Everyone in the stands will be silent until the Bruins score their 10th point. As soon as that happens, True Blue pandemonium will erupt!
  • During halftime of the 6 p.m. women’s game, some of our football players will face off against our Bruin coaches on the basketball court in a five-minute scrimmage. During the men’s halftime, we’ll honor our senior women athletes.
  • Lots of raffles and freebies in store, too. And don’t forget to bring $1 to enter the half-court shot for a chance to win $250.

You can learn more here. Don’t miss all the fun!
