Last call to pick up lost-and-found items

Sunday, August 13th, 2017

Last call for the lost and found! If you lost something on campus from last April until now, and have yet to pick it up, now is the time to do so! All of the lost-and-found items not reunited with their original owners will be donated to charitable causes on Friday, Sept. 1, to make room for incoming items.

If we have emailed you about left-behind items, please come to the security office as soon as you arrive back on campus to claim your items, as space is very limited!

Here’s why you should rent your textbooks

Saturday, August 12th, 2017

Renting textbooks is:

  • Cost Effective: Our rental program is better priced and more convenient for students than Amazon.
  • Convenient: Students can highlight and write in rentals. As long as the book is still usable they simply check in the book by the last day of finals.
  • No Risk: Rentals can be converted to a purchase by simply paying the difference between the rental and retail price.

Commuters: Please register your second car in the security office

Tuesday, August 8th, 2017

Commuters: If you switch cars with your spouse, or drive more than one family-owned car to school, you will need to register your second car in the security office.

The database is set up to issue permits to only one car per commuter, so please bring your DMV registration slip to the security office during office hours to register your second car, and you will receive the permit for that car in the office. Just a reminder that your second car registration can’t be your roommate’s car, your boyfriend’s or girlfriend’s car, etc.; it must be a family-owned vehicle!

Please register as soon as possible and use the address that you will be commuting from, or your campus address and box number for your “mailing address” so you will receive your permit by the start of school.
