Last call for sharing your culture by having a “booth†at the Cultural Fair. The Fair is Tuesday, October 30, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., in the Ron Gregory Atrium in EHS.Â

The Health and Counseling Center is hosting a flu clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the center. Please make an appointment with the Health and Counseling Center at ext. 2340.
Walk-ins also are welcome and will be worked into the schedule. Employees can bring in their children, who must be grade-school age or older. The cost is free for employees on the Pioneer Insurance plan, $1.50 for students with George Fox student insurance, and $15 for those with Kaiser or other insurances. Cash and checks will be accepted.

George Fox University Theatre will present alumna Tricia Gates Brown’s Whatever Kindles, a play about the lives of individuals who volunteer for Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT). Details on the world-premiere production are as follows:
Title: Whatever Kindles

Times: 7:30 p.m. (Nov. 4 performance at 2 p.m.)
Location: Wood-Mar Auditorium
Tickets: $10 general admission; $8 seniors/alumni; $6 students/children under 12*

Synopsis: Whatever Kindles is a fictional play based on the stories of actual events in the life of CPT. CPT volunteers work to prevent violence and promote alternatives to war in Iraq, the West Bank, Columbia, and other regions in the world devastated by violence.

It’s that time of year again: time to get your flu shot.
