The meal will be pescado a la orange tilapia baked with fresh oranges and lemons served with polenta de choclo. Also featured will be an authentic soup as well as two other soup options.
Vechery Scholarship applications are now available for upcoming seniors pursuing a church vocation, missions, ministry or if you come from a family serving such fields. Other requirements are on the application.

The women’s basketball team plays Friday, March 14, at 3 p.m. Pacific time (5 p.m. Central) vs. Hope College in the NCAA Division III National Tournament “Sweet 16†in Brownwood, Texas. A win would put the Bruins in the “Elite 8†Saturday at 5 p.m. Pacific (7 p.m. Central) vs. the winner of Friday’s second game between host Howard Payne University and De Sales University. All three sectional games may be heard via the Internet through D3hoops.com; KFOX was unable to send any students to do the broadcast.

The George Fox Symphonic Band, directed by Pat Vandehey, will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in Bauman Auditorium. The band will be accompanied by the university’s Flute Ensemble and Early Music Ensemble.
The band will perform “Inglesina (The little English Girl)†by David Delle Cese, “Thus Do You Fare, My Jesus†by Alfred Reed, “Morning Star†by David Maslanka, “Vilia†by Franz Lehar, and “Symphonic Overture†by James Barnes.
The following evening, Friday, March 14, the university’s Jazz Band will perform a free concert in Bauman Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
