Now in its ninth year at the national Society of Biblical Literature meetings, the John, Jesus, and History Project has enlisted the contributions of leading biblical scholars around the world, seeking to test the viability of two critical platforms: the “dehistoricization of John” and the resultant “de-Johannification of Jesus.” As co-chair of the project and editor of its three volumes, Anderson will share the latest on the potential challenging of the “scholarly consensus” on the subject over the last two centuries.
All are welcome; refreshments provided!
