We will be having our first Shalom on Thursday night (Sept. 5). Shalom is a weekly service where Fox students gather to worship through music and to hear how God is working in the campus community. This semester we’re exploring themes of justice, mercy, and humility based on Micah 6:8.
This week we’ll be hearing from ASC President Justin Vanier. Shalom starts at 9 p.m. in the Cap and Gown Room.
If you have any questions, please contact Grayce Beebe at gbeebe10@georgefox.edu.

With a record number of students this year, parking will be a bit challenging for the first few weeks of school.
Security recommends that you carefully look at the parking map that is attached to your permit, and keep the brochure IN your car. If your favorite lot is full you will be able to see other options where you are permitted to park, based on the type of permit you have been issued.
Commuters: Several new streets/lots have been opened up for commuter parking. Please take note of all the striped lots/parking areas that are open for commuter parking. NOT pictured on the parking map is a newly leased gravel lot on Meridian Street, across from Fulton Street, before you reach the railroad tracks. It will be open daily from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. M-F. This lot is a great alternative for staff/faculty, commuters, visitors and resident west permit holders.
If you registered for a permit in the last one and a half weeks it should be issued and delivered to Mail Services next week. Mail Services will notify you via email that you have a “packet” that you can pick up and sign for at the front desk of the mail services department.
If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to call security at 503-554-2090.
