Redeeming Life group meets tonight

Tuesday, October 29th, 2013

The Redeeming Life group is meeting tonight (Wednesday) from 7 to 8 p.m. in the second-floor lounge of Hoover (religious studies lounge).

For many people, October to January is the best of the year (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.). For others, however – such as those battling an eating disorder, or what is even more common, disordered eating – the holiday months are the most challenging times of the year. This is why Redeeming Life is here. We offer support and encouragement through the struggles as well as the victories on the road to recovery.

Know that you are not alone. Hope, healing and freedom is possible. Come as you are and know that you are loved, accepted and free.

Questions? Contact Annie Stewart at estewart11@georgefox.edu.

Please be mindful of reserved parking spots on campus

Monday, October 28th, 2013

There are a number of reserved parking spots around campus reserved for certain departments that need to unload goods, work off-hours, or come and go off campus frequently. Please do NOT park in these parking spots, even if it is just “for a minute,” or “I’m late for class!”

This also applies to the three 10-minute spots by Mail Services that are just for running in and grabbing your mail, or for pick-up of heavy packages. They are not for parking for classes in Ross, Minthorn or Brougher. Three additional spots have now been freed up for visitors only by the Security House in the Stevens lot. If you are a staff or student, please keep our visitor rows empty!

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
