To the George Fox Community,
Approximately one month ago, there were several thefts of university-owned property on the east side of campus. Then last night, there was a burglary of student-owned property, again on the east side of campus. We encourage all employees and students to help keep GFU a safe environment by doing the following:
1.Be sure to secure all personal belongings at all times.
2.Keep your car doors locked with no personal belongings in plain sight.
3.Keep exterior residence doors locked at all times, including when you’re present.
4.If you unlock a door to gain entry to any building, make sure the door closes behind you and is locked to prevent others from unauthorized entry.
5.Report any suspicious person(s) to Security Services immediately at ext. 2090.
We are investigating these incidents and taking steps to attempt to prevent further losses. Thanks you for your assistance.
Blessings,
Ed Gierok
George Fox University
Director of Security Services

The Library and IT departments are pleased to inform you that selections of PBS videos are available for viewing for any GFU employee or student. You can gain access to these Videos On Demand via BruinData by choosing the VOD menu. The titles will also be incorporated into our library’s Foxtrax catalog. This program is somewhat experimental so feedback will help us determine how or if this program should grow. Comments can be directed to Greg Smith.
