Students for Life Club invites you to learn more about StandUpGirl
The Students for Life Club invites you to learn more about the StandUpGirl Foundation, a local pregnancy resource center right across the street from campus (215 N. Meridian St.) that provides young women with the personal interaction they need and a local support team. We plan to host a speaker from the foundation this semester.
With an outreach that is worldwide, “StandUpGirls” volunteers moderate the web and social media sites, and respond to messages from across the globe. Visitors find educational materials, real answers to their questions, and a community of women they can talk to about their unplanned pregnancy.
Visitors have the option to further their contact through email, chat, or text 24/7. StandUpGirl receives emails from women daily around the world, and in 2020 a George Fox study found that with every $20 StandUpGirl.com has spent since 2012, a life has been saved in the U.S.
