HSC’s climbing wall set for closures this weekend

In preparation for Rocktoberfest, the Hadlock Student Center’s climbing wall will be closed for route setting tomorrow (Friday) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the next day (Saturday) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In addition, there will be no roped climbing hours on Sunday, Oct. 27. Regular hours will resume Monday, Oct. 28, through Thursday, Oct. 31. The wall will close again at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, for the duration of the event. 

Rocktoberfest is the fall bouldering competition that will run from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. This event will bring the George Fox climbing community together for a night of fun and friendly competition. Participants will be eligible for prizes that will be raffled off throughout the evening.
