St. John’s Bible sessions continue today
The university community is invited to a series of “Turning the Page” sessions highlighting the Heritage Edition of the St. John’s Bible on campus. The series continues today (Friday) and each Friday through Oct. 16. Paul Anderson (Christian Studies) will leaf through the pages today from 4 to 4:30 p.m. in the MLRC.
The Saint John’s Bible is the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible to have been commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey (Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minn.) since the invention of the printing press. The Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible is the full-size fine art reproduction of the original.
