The beginning of the new year is a great time to look at your financial picture and think about your retirement savings goals for 2015. To assist employees in this process, a TIAA-CREF consultant will be on the Newberg campus Monday, Feb. 9, and Wednesday, Feb. 11, and at the Portland Center on Thursday, Feb. 12.

Online tools are also available. If you’re not sure of your retirement progress, you can check out Retirement Advisor. This is an online tool that in four steps will help you answer:

• Am I on track to meet my retirement goals?
• How much should I be saving now?
• Is my money invested appropriately?

Using this tool, you can set a financial or goal date for your retirement; enter your information and pick your strategy. The Retirement Advisor will give you the personalized advice you need to take action right away so you’re on track to pursue the retirement you envision.
