Role of Center for Teaching and Learning discussed Nov. 13
A Faculty Teaching Forum, “What Would You Want From a Center for Teaching and Learning?,” will be presented by Rick Muthiah (Center for Teaching and Learning) from 3:40 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in Hoover 104 (Hoover Library).
This session will be a discussion about the role of a Center for Teaching and Learning as part of the larger endeavor of faculty development. Is faculty development in general, and discussion about teaching in particular, an important component of your life at George Fox? What would help you develop as a teacher? What conversations about teaching do you wish you could be part of? How do you think educational technology supports or detracts from your teaching? Bring your thoughts for this roundtable discussion.
Refreshments will be served. No R.S.V.P. is required. All faculty — full time, part time and adjunct — are invited to attend Faculty Teaching Forums (FTFs).
