Share your Oregon, George Fox story with Oregon Stories Project

Have an interesting story to tell about living in Oregon? Any George Fox or Pacific College tales that should be shared? As part of the Oregon’s 150th birthday celebration, the Oregon Stories Project (a part of the Oregon 150 celebration) is collecting stories to share via TV, radio and the Web.

Following are guidelines for sending in your unique Oregon stories at oregon150.org/oregon-stories:

  • All forms of expression are welcomed, from poetry to photographs to video
  • Stories must be 500 words or fewer and submitted as a Word document or as plain text
  • For photos, send electronic, .jpeg files not to exceed 140 KB
  • For audio files, send electronic, .mp3 files between one and three minutes in length
  • For video files, send electronic, .flv or .mov files between one and three minutes in length

Once submitted, entries are the property of Oregon 150 and may be edited for length or clarity. All entrants must sign a release form allowing your story to be reproduced as part of the Oregon Story project.

The deadline for submission is Sept. 30, 2009.
