‘Eyewitness Gaza’ shows tonight in Hoover 105
All are welcome to tonight’s (Wednesday’s) multimedia presentation, “Eyewitness Gaza,” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Hoover 105.
The event, cosponsored by the Center for Peace and Justice and the religious studies department, features the photography of Skip Schiel, a Cambridge, Mass.-based photojournalist who has been traveling to Israel and Palestine to investigate and portray conditions and struggles since 2003.
In “Eyewitness Gaza,” Schiel presents the plight and struggles of youth four years after the devastating Israeli attacks of Operation Cast Lead, along with the possible implications of the Arab Spring for all the people in Gaza.
