Faculty PLC applications due Sept. 5
Applications for the faculty Professional Learning Community “Teaching for Student Learning: Effective Strategies for the University Classroom” are due Wednesday, Sept. 5. The PLC is designed to enhance teaching, increase student learning and deepen reflective practice.
This PLC is facilitated by Gary Sehorn, assistant professor of education. It will meet from 10:40 to 11:30 a.m. on the following Wednesdays: Sept. 12, Sept. 19, Oct. 3, Oct. 17, Oct. 31, Nov. 14 and Nov. 28. Each participant will receive an honorarium of $325 and a copy of the book How Learning Works.
