Portland Youth Philharmonic performs free concert on campus Nov. 7
This Monday, Nov. 7, the Portland Youth Philharmonic, led by conductor and music director David Hattner, will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium.
The program for the concert includes: Malcolm Arnold’s Four Scottish Dances; Elgar’s Enigma Variations, and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperorâ€with Fred Lu, PYP’s 2011 Piano Concerto Competition Winner. The concert is a free preview of PYP’s annual fall concert to be held in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m.
