Be sure to schedule ARC appointments in advance
The Academic Resource Center is busier this year than ever before, with more than 410 visits to the ARC so far this year (compared with 290 at this point last year). Because of the demand, it’s critical that students schedule appointments in advance.
Students often need to schedule two to three days ahead to ensure an appointment; one can also schedule a week – or even a month – ahead. Appointments for writing, learning strategies, academic coaching, or general tutoring can be scheduled by e-mailing the_arc@georgefox.edu, calling ext. 2314, or stopping by the ARC during hours of operation (1-10 p.m., Mon-Thur; noon-4 p.m., Fri). A schedule of labs for subject tutoring is available online.
