Stay productive with the Pomodoro Technique

As we head into the second half of the semester, staying focused and managing heavy workloads can feel overwhelming. A great way to keep your momentum without burning out is by “chunking” your work using the Pomodoro Technique!

How it works:

  • Choose a task or class you want to focus on.
  • Set a timer for 25 minutes and focus!
  • Take a five-minute brain break to stretch, grab water, or rest your brain.
  • Repeat! After four “pomo” sessions, reward yourself with a longer 15- to 30-minute break.

By breaking your study sessions into manageable chunks, you maintain high focus, reduce mental fatigue, and avoid procrastination.
