Tour the Baird House and support a worthy cause

Explore stunning historic and distinctive homes in Newberg during the annual Solid Foundations Tour on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This self-guided tour benefits Yamhill County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) during Child Abuse Prevention Month, supporting trained advocates who speak up for vulnerable children in the courtroom and community.

The 2026 tour begins at the Chehalem Cultural Center and invites you to discover the craftsmanship and history behind Newberg’s most unique spaces. A major highlight of this year’s event is a rare look inside the historic Baird House on Franklin Street, a beautifully restored 1888 landmark and the current residence of Robin Baker, president of George Fox University.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate our community’s remarkable architecture while helping to create a solid foundation for local children in need. For more information and to view the historic home locations, click here.
