Fundraiser event for missionaries to Lithuania set for June 20
The campus community is invited to an event in support of George Fox alumnus Andrew Stave and former employee Kim (Cliffe) Stave, missionaries to Lithuania Christian College. The gathering is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, June 20, at North Valley Friends Church, 4020 N. College St.
The evening will include:
- Homemade traditional Lithuanian food
- Traditional Lithuanian music
- Traditional Lithuanian costumes
- Information on the Staves’ ministry at LCC International University
- An opportunity to meet and hear from a LCC student, Iryna
- Learn where in the world LCC students come from
- Take home some Lithuanian handicrafts from a silent auction
