Join the first Access Allies meeting tonight to learn about disability advocacy

Join the first meeting of Access Allies tonight (Wednesday) from 6 to 7 p.m. in Hoover 102.

Access Allies is a group created to educate and engage students in the world of disability advocacy and allyship. We will unpack what it means to be an ally to the disability community by discussing a variety of digital resources and the book Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, and How to Be an Ally by Emily Ladau.

Our first meeting will cover what disability is and some tips and tricks for interacting with members of the disability community in a respectful, informed way.
