The schedule is as follows:

• 3 p.m.: Division of Engineering, Science, Art & Business

This format allows a more personalized and celebratory atmosphere for our graduates and their families, and like last year, we are calling for “all-community” participation. What a thrill it is to see graduates, their families, and friends come together to celebrate!

Volunteers are vital to the smooth execution of the day’s events and help make the day memorable for our graduates and their guests. This event could not happen without you!

Looking for a fun and active way for kids to spend their day off from school? Join us for the cross country program’s Youth Running Camp on Friday, June 19!

This one-day camp is a great opportunity for young athletes to stay active, learn new running skills, and have fun in a positive environment. Participants will take part in running drills, games and activities designed to improve coordination, confidence and overall fitness while being coached by experienced staff.

The camp is open to youth of all skill levels and is a perfect way to spend the day off from school being active and engaged.

In coordination with Sexual Assault Awareness Month, George Fox’s CARE Team invites the George Fox community (faculty, staff, students) to design a one-color poster to be silkscreen-printed on the quad on Wednesday, April 1.

Designers can choose what kind of imagery they want to use to convey the message “Speak Up,” but remember: To be printed, the design can only use one color. Think about designing your image with nothing more than a Sharpie and a white piece of paper!

Contest winners will receive an Amazon gift card (first place: $100; second place: $50; third place: $25). Submissions are due today (Tuesday) by 11:30 p.m., and winners will be announced on Friday, March 20.

Calling all poets! In honor of National Poetry Month, the library will host a panel and reading on Friday, April 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Murdock Library.

In addition to a rich conversation about the art of poetry, the evening will include poetry readings by guest and George Fox poets. Please register here to let us know you plan to attend and to be entered into our raffle for one of three poetry collections.

Athletes’ emotional and mental well-being can change the game. We are a group of students from Dr. Arielle Hodges’ Health Communication course, and we’re conducting a study on “College Athletes’ Well-Being.”
