Register for Medicare 101 virtual seminars on March 26 or 28

When it’s time to transition to Medicare, there can be a number of important and sometimes confusing details to consider. To help ensure you have the correct information when making decisions, George Fox has partnered with Jennifer Stahel and Hilary Starnes from Providence Health Assurance to provide Medicare 101 seminars. These virtual seminars will help you understand the basics of Medicare in an easy-to-understand overview.

Seminar topics:

  • What is Medicare and why is it important?
  • Addressing the different parts of Medicare (the A, B, C & D’s of Medicare)
  • What are the differences between Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Supplement?
  • When should you consider enrolling into Medicare and what does the process look like?
  • What are the costs to be enrolled in Medicare?
  • What to consider if you are planning to continue to work past age 65
  • Learn how to avoid late enrollment penalties
  • How to transition from an employer group plan to a Medicare plan
  • Understand how to manage a Health Savings Account (HSA)

We hope this helps you and/or your loved ones as you plan for the eventual transition to Medicare. You do not need to be eligible for Medicare to attend this seminar. The presentation will take approximately an hour, but we’ll have additional time at the end to answer any questions you may have.

Please register for the seminar on TuesdayMarch 26, at noon by clicking here. Register for our second Medicare 101 seminar on Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. by clicking here.
