Memorize George Fox’s Mission Statement and earn a prize

Tomorrow (Friday), your friendly director of institutional effectiveness, Christine Lawton, will walk the campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to find out whether faculty and staff (and maybe a few students) know George Fox University’s Mission Statement, why a Mission Statement is important, and how their work intersects with it.

Prizes will be given to all who participate, with the best prize for those who correctly recite the Mission Statement. Mnemonics help to memorize! Use acronyms to learn the statement:

GFU, a Christ-centered community (CCC), that prepares students spiritually, academically, and professionally (SAP) to think with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with passion (TAS).

See you tomorrow! Feel free to reach out to Christine Lawton at clawton@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.
