Important mid-term grade information for undergraduate students

Midterm grades provide an accurate picture of a student’s academic progress so far this semester. The last day to withdraw from a class without a graded responsibility for a class a student may be struggling in is Sunday, March 19.

This means that if a student withdraws from a class, their transcript will show a “W.” If they do not withdraw now and ultimately do not pass a course, their GPA will suffer.  More information regarding withdrawing from a class can be found here.

Mid-term grade entry starts Saturday, Feb. 25, and ends after Wednesday, March 1.

Students who received a D or an F on their midterms should contact their CAP coach as soon as possible to discuss the consequences of withdrawing from a class. If a student withdraws from a class, they should also contact their CAP coach to discuss their class schedule for future semesters. They can follow this link to contact CAP coaches.

Other resources for students are easily accessible on campus:

If a student needs help or has any questions, or needs assistance, they should contact studentlife@georgefox.edu.

Students who fail all of their classes may have their financial aid package affected. If they have federal financial aid and are not passing any classes, they are to immediately contact their financial aid and/or student accounts advisor.
