Here are some resources and contact information for Title IX

George Fox is committed to providing a Christ-centered community that fosters a safe place to live, work and learn for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

A core value of this institution is to maintain a respectful environment for all individuals that are free of the following: sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, harassment and discrimination, bias-related incidents, and hate crimes.

If you or someone you know has experienced a Title IX-related incident, we strongly encourage students to report it to our Title IX coordinator. Sharia Hays, dean of student care and operations, is now serving as the interim Title IX coordinator.

For more Title IX information, visit the Title IX brochure or the university’s Title IX website. If you are off campus and need immediate assistance, contact 911. If you are on campus and need immediate assistance, call 911, or Campus Public Safety at 503-554-2090.

You can contact Sharia Hays at titleixcoordinator@georgefox.edu or 503-554-2317. She is located in the student life office in the Hadlock Student Center.
