Join a wilderness first responder training session this August

University Recreation is hosting a Wilderness First Responder Course on the Newberg campus the week of Aug. 6-10. If you enjoy spending lots of time outdoors, this is a great opportunity to equip you to help others and respond to incidents when they occur.

The course is taught in a hybrid format, with 30-plus hours of self-directed pre-course review and 40-plus hours of in-person learning over a five-day period. Completion results in a three-year, professional-level certification.

The last day to register is Monday, July 18. Go to this link for more details or to register.
