Important details about midterm grades

Midterm grades provide an accurate picture of your academic progress so far this semester. The last day to withdraw from a class without a graded responsibility for a class you may be struggling in is Sunday, March 20.

This means that if you withdraw from a class, your transcript will show a “W.” If you do not withdraw now and ultimately do not pass a course, your GPA will suffer.

If your professor has not yet given you a midterm grade, please contact them right away to find out where you stand in that course. Information regarding withdrawing from a class can be found here.

Students who received a D or an F on their midterms should contact their CAP coach as soon as possible to discuss the consequences of withdrawing from a class. If a student withdraws from a class, they should also contact their CAP coach to discuss their class schedule for future semesters. Follow this link to contact CAP coaches.
