Important details about midterm grades
Midterm grades provide an accurate picture of a student’s academic progress so far this semester. If a student is struggling in a class, the last day they can withdraw from that class without a graded responsibility is Sunday, March 20.
This means that if a student withdraws from a class, their transcript will show a “W.†If they do not withdraw now and ultimately do not pass a course, their GPA will suffer. Information regarding withdrawing from a class can be found here.
Students who received a D or an F on their midterms should contact their CAP coach as soon as possible to discuss the consequences of withdrawing from a class. If a student withdraws from a class, they should also contact their CAP coach to discuss their class schedule for future semesters. Follow this link to contact CAP coaches.
