Climbing wall closed until Monday morning; ‘Rocktoberfest’ set for Oct. 29
The Hadlock Student Center climbing wall will be closed until 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 25.
The closure is required so University Recreation staff can prepare for the upcoming “Rocktoberfest†climbing competition set for Friday, Oct. 29, from 3 to 10 p.m. If you’re interested in learning more about this competition and/or competing, please go here.
The competition is not exclusive to elite athletes or advanced climbers; it’s for everyone! In fact, the vast majority of climbers who register have been climbing for fewer than two years. It’s a fun community event that we have once a semester to connect people and celebrate the joy of climbing.
