Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Attend virtual event

Welcome to spring! April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the George Fox Sexual Misconduct CARE Team is hoping to bring more attention and education toward this on campus.

We will be holding a virtual event featuring survivor, educator and wellness coach Brittany Piper. Brittany uses her story of adversity, resilience, and triumph to empower and inspire audiences to take brave action in their own lives and communities.

Brittany will be sharing on:

  • Rape Culture: A Survivor’s Perspective
  • From Hardship to Leadership: Transforming Pain into Progress
  • After the Assault: Healing Through Self-Care for Survivors and Their Peers

This event will be held next Friday, April 9, at 6 p.m. over Zoom. The Zoom link will be provided directly to you through email. Please fill out this Google Form if you are interested in attending.
